Mary Ellen calls herself a Jill of All Trades and a Master of Many, specializing in efficient office practices. At Sea/Cure Moving, she is our Director of First Impressions, who answers the phones, schedules appointments, and processes paperwork for our local moves. She has spent most of her career in various industries usually in the office (including a family heritage in the moving industry dating back to 1946), either as an administrative assistant, supervisor, or manager. In addition to the moving industry, Mary Ellen has worked in banking—earning the Teller of the Year award in 1984; medical, education, cemetery (death care industry), construction, municipal, and food service. She has never had less than 2 jobs at one time, and at times has held up to 6 part-time jobs all at the same time! Organization is her middle name!!!

While working for another mover, Mary Ellen was the Secretary for the Monmouth/Ocean chapter of the NJ Warehousemen and Movers Association. Among other community involvement, she has been a volunteer for Twin Lights Historical Society, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, PTA, the Treasurer for the Ladies Auxiliary of the River Plaza Hose Company, and the Treasurer and a Trustee for her church.

As a lifelong learner, Mary Ellen holds 3 associate degrees from Brookdale Community College—and was the Speaker for the graduating class of 2007; a bachelor’s degree from Georgian Court University; and a master’s degree from Kean University, where she taught ESL grammar for several years. Mary Ellen also considers herself the Comma Queen, but she won’t verbally grade you on your grammar—only silently in her head! She loves to discover new things, is an avid reader, and makes crafts and bakes in her spare time. In 1988 she came in 2^nd place in a baking contest—having lost to a cheesecake, so she feels pretty good about it.

Very well. They arrived on time with five guys instead of the three they quoted me, and did not charge any additional. They worked quickly and were careful and polite. The job was done in less time than estimated and I received a refund based on the lesser time. They efficiently stacked all my furniture and boxes in the storage units. I didn't think it would all fit, but they managed. A couple of people who are there putting things in their own units while my move was going on commented what a great job they did. I'm confident that the move from storage to my new house will go as well

The three men were exceptionally nice, neat, friendly and especially efficient. They helped move our old furniture out, assemble some of the new furniture. The 48” round table came with no instructions and took about an hour to finish. I would recommend them to anyone! It was a pleasure working with everyone at the company.

Can't say enough good things about my moving experience with Bekins/SeaCure. My movers were excellent, knowledgeable and felt like my best friends the entire time - both in my move from and to my new home. I felt so well taken care of and the movers could not have been more helpful. If I move again it will defnitely be with this movers. Highly recommend!
